Why Choose an Authorised Celebrant?

Congratulations, you’re getting married.

With all the Planning and stress of organising your special day, It’s important to take your time choosing the right Celebrant for you.

Whether a beach wedding or walking down a garden path is your idea of making the perfect back drop for your special day, let me guide you on a journey you will remember for the rest of your lives together.

Some people choose not to have a religious ceremony. In these instances, a civil union requires the use of an Authorised Marriage Celebrant.

An Authorised Marriage Celebrant must be appointed by the Attorney General of Australia and must work within the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia and the Marriage Act 1961.

The role of the Authorised Marriage Celebrant is to conduct and solemnise marriage ceremonies in accordance to the laws of Australia.

Also to guide you through the process of planning your ceremony, the correct wording required, and assists you with any issues in the planning process of the ceremony.

I am a professional Authorised Celebrant living in Brisbane. I’ve been married for 10 years to a wonderful man named Michael and we have 2 children: Brayden and Caitlyn.

I have an Advanced Diploma of Civil Celebrancy which gives me a qualification and licence to perform Marriage Ceremonies, Renewal of Vow Ceremonies, Public Speaking, MC, Life Celebrations, Baby Naming’s and Funerals. This is a nationally recognised qualification.

People often describe me as happy, helpful, open- minded, energetic and extremely organised. Did I mention also a perfectionist!!

Meet me and see for yourself!
